For the past couple of weeks, we have been on a unique journey, as we have been considering “Four Phrases That Could Change Your Christmas.” For some, think about Christmas this early is a stretch, but there are likely a few that began do so, before began this series.
When you think about it through the phrases aren’t just for Christmas, and yes, while the prayer is that it will change your Christmas, it really is that it will change your outlook beyond Christmas too.
To date we have considered the phrases: “Worship Fully and Spend Less (These were covered on our last two service posting). Today we look at the next phrase, and hat phrase is “Spend More.” We are not talking money here, but “Spending More” of yourself as you invest in others and as you invest in (or even begin) your relationship with Christ.
Note: In addition to the Bible, one resource we will be using regularly, including the source of the four phrases comes from “The Advent Conspiracy” and is used with permission. More information can be found about this movement on their website: www.adventconspiracy.org
